Davco K11 德高防水胶浆

DAVCO K11DESCRIPTION• An alkali-reactive waterproofing product basedon alkali resistant synthetically modifiedcement.• The Davco K11 waterproofing concept is basedon the crystallisation process. Davco K11compounds combine with free water and otherelements in the substrate to produce awaterproof membrane. The unique and highlyeffective components of the Davco K11systems chemically react within the pores andcapillaries upon exposure to the moisture andthe elements. This chemical reaction initiatesthe formation of the crystalline structure withinthe pores and capillaries, to become an integralpart of the structure and block the passage ofwater.• Davco K11 is a brush or spray applied,Portland cement based system forwaterproofing concrete and masonry throughthe crystallisation process. Davco K11waterproofs the positive side or the negativeside of the substrate. Following properapplication, active water pressures force thecrystal forming chemicals deeper into the sub-surface capillaries and pores to form amonolithic bond and become an integral part ofthe • Davco K11 is applied to interior or exteriorbelow grade surfaces and between horizontalstructural slabs and toppings to protect againsthydrostatic water pressure. These surfacesinclude concrete, concrete block, brick andshotcrete.• Davco K11 Can be used in a variety ofinstallations, some examples being:◊ Subway Stations◊ Swimming Pools◊ Mines◊ Fish Hatcheries◊ Tunnels◊ Solar Water Tanks◊ Aquariums◊ Cooling Tower Basins◊ Elevator Pits◊ Basements◊ Planters◊ Floors◊ Manholes◊ Sewage TreatmentPlants• Davco K11 is approved as a mineralwaterproofing layer for the protection ofbuildings against ground moisture, i.e. groundwater under pressure (rising damp etc.) andagainst surface water, rainfall, seepage, and ingeneral against water under a low hydrostaticpressure. It is also approved for the internalcoating of potable water containers up to aheight of 5m, on all sound mineral • IMPORTANT - Ensure any lumps in the DavcoK11 powder are broken up prior to mixing withLanko 751 Lankolatex SBR.• Mix 25kg of Davco K11 powder into 5L ofLanko 751 Lankolatex SBR gauged with 4L ofclean water. Always add Davco K11 powder tothe gauging liquid. Using a mechanical mixermixed until a smooth creamy consistency LE SUBSTRATESDavco K11 may be applied to:• Sound concrete (strength B 15 in accordancewith DIN 1045)• Brickwork (DIN 105/106/398); hollow concreteblocks (DIN 18 153); all pointing must be flushand pre-wetted.• Render at least 10mm thick (DIN 18550 MortarGroup III) applied with a smooth trowel and witha sound and permanent bond to the tions and Footings• Davco K11 should only applied to structureswhich are not subject to conditions that couldresult in warping or movement.•

Settlement should have finished, and thestructure should not be subject to any furthermovement.•

The structure should be free of live es Against External Hydrostatic Pressure• In order to prevent an increase in the level ofwater pressure, the land around the buildingmust be adequately provided with a drainagesystem - e.g. to cope with changes ingroundwater r 2002

DAVCO K11TYPICAL K-11 APPLICATIONSSURFACE PREPARATION• The surface prior to treatment must be solid, even, porous and free of dust pockets, laitance, moving joints or cracks. Should any cracks ormovement joints be present, please refer toinformation below on methods of treatment. Sharpedges must be removed, and all wall/floor andwall/wall angles rounded by putting in place a filletof sand/cement (3 sand: 1 cement) mixed withdiluted Lanko 751 Lankolatex SBR (mixed 1 partLanko 751 Lankolatex SBR: 4 parts water).

The surface must be free of bitumen, oil, grease, curing compounds, releaseagents, mould, paints and any othercontaminating nt jointsAll expansion and movement joints should besealed with a suitable joint sealant after applicationof the Davco K11. Consult your ParexDavco(Australia) Pty Ltd state office for advice on the jointsealing method best suited to your TreatmentAll shrinkage and non-moving structural crackshaving a width equal to or less than

0.5 mm will bewaterproofed by the application of Davco cracks wider than 0.5 mm must be routed outto form a 'V' shaped groove with a hand or powerchisel, to a depth and width of approximately 25mm. These larger cracks must be repaired bypriming the chiselled out crack with one coat ofDavco K11. Whilst this primer coat of Davco K11 isOctober 2002

The surface must be pre-wetted to saturation andbe thoroughly damp, but have no free water on applying the Davco K11, the substrate shouldappear matt, and there should be no signs ofglistening water on the surface.• The slurry is applied using a brush, broom orspray machine. Ensure the material isthoroughly mixed before applying.• The coating should be applied to the wholesurface in at least two coats. Apply the secondcoat at 90º to the first coat while the first is stillgreen. In no instance should the total thicknessexceed 5mm.• The slurry must not be applied at temperaturesbelow 50C or on frozen surfaces.• Before applying further coatings, e.g. renders, tile adhesives etc onto K11, allow the K11 tofully ng the Coating• The surface must be checked for faults beforeapplying the next coat (e.g., before applicationof screed). After Treatment• After treatment is not obligatory. For at least 24hours after application the Davco K11 must beprotected from rain, harsh sunlight andparticularly from tion of the Coating / Overcoating• Subsequent layers (e.g. renders, tiles, screeds, etc.) may be applied only when the Davco K11has fully hardened. Plasters containing limemust not be applied to Davco K11.

• A key coat, comprising 1 part Lanko 751Lankolatex SBR: 1 part water: 1 part cementshould be brushed onto the surface prior to anyapplication of subsequent TIONS• Davco K11 is a cement-based product andcontains alkali, which can cause ore applicators should wear PVC orsimilar gloves, and safety goggles.• For a full MSDS contact your ParexDavco(Australia) Pty Ltd state office.• For the uses of Davco K11 not mentioned inthese instructions, contact your localParexDavco (Australia) Pty Ltd state GEGround MoistureApprox 2kg/m2Hydrostatic Pressure(2 coats of 1kg/ m2
